I'm better now...

You may be aware I spent last week a bit under the weather. Thanks for your calls of concern and support. When I tell you I completely missed the deadline to deliver my pieces to be hung for the San Antonio Calligraphy Guild (SACG) spring exhibit you’ll get an idea of how sick I was. This piece sat completed on my dinning room table, while I lay convalescing on the couch watching Italian cinema and coughing up a lung. Sorry, was that to much information.

When I regained consciousness I had missed the deadline by one day. I’m better now and am planning on attending the spring exhibit to see the work of my favorite San Antonio calligraphers. Hope to see you there.

San Antonio Calligraphers Guild 2007 Exibit

What would a glass artist be doing at a calligraphy exhibit? Well, I have been a quite member of the San Antonio Calligraphers Guild (SACG) since 2005. I say quite because with the expectation of helping friends with wedding invitations no one has ever seen my work. That’s about to change. This year I decided to push my creativity to include lettering in my glass work. Examples of these pieces will be on display at the Los Patios Arbor Room beginning April 1, 2007, as part of the annual SACG spring exhibit.

I encourage you to join us for the opening reception on April 1st from 4:00-6:00 P.M. or enjoy the work during an afternoon lunch with friends. Pieces will be on exhibit through May 2007.
