“Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.”

Well over a year ago my cousin included this quote in an encouraging email she sent me. I wonder if she had any idea the inspiration it would be. It has stayed on my mind, my thoughts often returning to its’ poetic play of light on glass. Thank you, Catherine.

It is a shame that online I can not share with you the shift in color of the iridized glass or the feel your fingers pick up when they run across small pieces of frit along the surface. These are my favorite parts.

Nicole- What a beautiful piece- Thanks for visiting my blog again- The Encyclopedia of Me thing has been fun for sure and a great way to get into blogging. I hope I'll be able to continue blogging without the alphabet inspiration it has given me. Towards the end I am just kinda blogging about my day and trying to fit the letter in somewhere anyway. I started blogging intending to post about my crafts - lately I've been pretty busy and I haven't had time to craft as much as I'd like. Also- turns out I have a problem finishing something to the point where I'd like to post a photo of it to my blog. Anyway- Thanks for your comment! Roxanne
